Client dashboard use rules
Updated 26 October 2026.
Your invitation identifies the dashboard and the applicable rules.
These general rules apply when your invitation or client agreement refers to this dated version. The agreement for the engagement, its confidentiality provisions and the project's privacy notice continue to apply. These rules don't change agreed fees, ownership, liability limits or the scope of my services.
Use the access granted to you for the agreed work.
Keep your sign-in details and access links secure. Use your own account or invitation, follow the access instructions and don't pass your access to another person. Tell me at me@bontlesenne.com if you think someone else has used it.
Use dashboard material within the audience and purpose authorised for the engagement. Get written permission from the organisation entitled to authorise disclosure before copying or sharing confidential material outside that audience. Rights in source documents, software and other materials remain with their respective owners, subject to the engagement agreement.
Protect the people whose information appears in the work.
Only provide information you're authorised to share and that the agreed work needs. Public contact forms and dashboard question boxes aren't suitable for new details about an identifiable person's health, disability, safeguarding circumstances, criminal allegations or other sensitive matters. Use a separately agreed secure route if the work requires that information.
Don't try to reach another user's account or restricted material, bypass access controls or interfere with the service. Report unexpected access, loss or disclosure to me@bontlesenne.com promptly, without circulating the material further.
Check generated answers before relying on them.
Where a dashboard includes an artificial-intelligence answer feature, its project information will explain what it sends to the provider. Follow those limits when entering questions. Answers can be incomplete or wrong, so check material points against the underlying sources before using them in a report, recommendation or decision. Don't use a generated answer as the sole basis for a decision about a person.
Access can end when the work or your role changes.
The client and I manage access according to the engagement agreement. Access may be suspended or removed when it's no longer authorised, when these rules are breached or when this is necessary to protect the service or confidential information. You can ask me to remove your access. The project's privacy notice explains retention and rights; ending access doesn't necessarily delete every business or security record immediately.
For access or technical problems, email me@bontlesenne.com. For a personal-information request, use the contact named in the project's privacy notice; if you contact me, I'll route it to the responsible organisation where appropriate.
